Oyster knives and more The Fourth Cliff Tool Company designs and supplies high quality food preparation tools. Located in Marshfield MA, their studio looks due north to Fourth Cliff in Humarock, where the North River runs into Cape Cod Bay, on the south shore of Massachusetts.

Our new packaging design and graphics for our first product the nacre oyster knife. We are looking to have our packaging handcrafted letterpress printed on heavy brown kraft paper, with a New Enland base printing press company. We are still thinking that we will have the knife floating on a bed of blue shredded paper curls.

Packaging for the Nacre Lift-tip Oyster Knife
The packaging for Fourth Cliff Tool Company's first product, the "Nacre" Lift-tip Oyster Knife, is riding on a bed of blue paper waves. This was inspired by the 40's - 50's packaging of the Big Ben Deluxe by Westclox. The iconic Big Ben clock, designed by Henry Dreyfuss, reflects a passion for simple, elegant design and straight forward function.
